Challenge

The lack of a calculator was making it difficult for the sales team to provide quotes and features to potential cusotmers. Users were facing issues with the long wait times and preliminary calls with sales team which was affecting new user adoption rates. The lack of an option for potential customers to get initial savings was frustrating and leading to bounce offs.

Results

The newly designed sales calculator helped Model N with a more intuitive and user-friendly interface for their sales team, making it easier for them to create accurate customer quotes. The calculator also streamlined the sales process, reducing the time and effort required to generate quotes and proposals.

Research & Analysis:

This calculator aims to help the sales team optimize revenue by adding relevant inputs and to assist customers in understanding the potential year-over-year growth and savings. As part of the design process, we started by understanding the sales team's challenges in selling the product.

Wireframing & Prototyping:

Once we identified the challenges and requirements, we created an interactive wireframe that highlights the different input steps, personal information for lead generation, and potential savings based on the provided inputs.

Visual Design & Style Guide:

We developed a cohesive visual language, including color schemes, typography, and iconography, ensuring consistency throughout the website. We also created a style guide to maintain design consistency for future updates.

Conclusion

Introducing a sales calculator successfully addressed the sales decline resulting in a more intuitive and user-friendly experience. The improved UX/UI design led to increased user adoption, engagement, and satisfaction, increasing sales revenue.
